About the Event

Drivers Edu Driving School is proud to offer the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT)-certified Driver Education Program. This course is a 2-part mandatory requirement for all aspiring drivers in Maryland, created and regulated by MDOT and implemented by Drivers Edu Driving School. By enrolling with us, you are taking a step toward obtaining your Maryland driver's license with confidence and competence.


Course Structure

1. Classroom Curriculum Produced by MDOT (PART 1)

  • Delivered virtually in real-time over 10 days, with each session lasting 3 hours for 5 Weeks (This virtual class meets weekly on Saturday & Sundays for 5 consecutive weeks.)

  • Led by experienced, licensed instructors who guide students through essential topics, including road safety, defensive driving, and Maryland traffic laws.

2. Behind-the-Wheel Training (PART 2)

    This ticket is for the complete 30-hour virtual driver education program + (6) hours of behind the wheel evaluations. (NOTE) Behind the wheel evaluations are self-scheduled by the student. Students must request access to the scheduling portal via student services. PLUS TWO Personalized Driving Lessons. Intended for those students who have none to minimum driving experience. A Maryland MVA learners permit is required. A link to schedule will be sent to your email.
