Virtual Certification Appointments are available for Maryland MVA–required programs, including the Driver Improvement Program (DIP) and the 3-Hour Roadway Safety Driver Education Program.

Same-Day Certification (Most Cases)
In many cases, certification is issued the same day and electronically reported to the Maryland MVA for faster processing.

Statewide & Remote Access
Maryland residents may complete certification online through a Virtual Appointment, whether located in-state or out-of-state, after finishing the required self-paced course.

Course Completion Required
The online course must be completed prior to scheduling a Virtual Certification Appointment.
